About the Mid Monaghan Local Business Directory
The Doohamlet District Community Development Association has developed this Local Business Directory. The directory aims to promote business within the Mid Monaghan area and to let local people know exactly what services are available on their doorstep.
The directory provides a resource for local tradesmen, companies and services to secure local custom. By using businesses listed on this directory, local people will be able to ensure they are supporting their local community when they spend their money. Visitors and tourists will also be able to find out about local business in the area.
To support local business, the cost of being listed on the directory has been kept low. To ensure the directory serves it's purpose, terms and conditions with respect to eligibility and participation have been drafted by the development association committee. To offer a further service to local business, a webpage facility is also being provided - this gives small or low-tech traders the opportunity to have a basic one-page website developed for their business at minimal cost. This gives all local traders a chance to market themselves and let local people know exactly what services they offer.
While the local business directory has been developed Doohamlet District Community Development Association, it is intended that it will be a valuable tool for all everyone in the mid-Monaghan area.
The local business directory was launched at the Doohamlet District Community Development Association AGM in Octohber 2011. If you would like to have your business listed, please complete an application form and return with payment to The Treasurer DDCDA, 4 Cois Locha, Doohamlet.
